Our Mission:
The Shyne Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create public platforms to recognize the positive achievements of youth between the ages 13-24 – including offering, educational programs and events to assure the personal, social and academic attainment of all youth. The Shyne Awards is the organization’s annual signature event.
Our Philosophy:
If given the proper tools, resources, and modeled guidance; all youth can be successful in any and all areas of their interest or purpose, in spite of their background or current environment.
The SHYNE Awards Ceremony recognizes young adults 13-24 for their achievements in the following…
• Academics
• Community Service
• Service in Ministry
• Science
• Overcoming Obstacles
• Young Adult Group
Individuals who wish to nominate a young adult in one of these categories must complete and submit the application, a 500 word essay, two letters of recommendation and supporting documents on why the students should be recognized and awarded at the SHYNE Awards. The application will be available on The Shyne Awards website (www.theshyneawards.org).
